Such a busy week! A pile of homework and personal stuff to do dragged me away from all the good movies I just downloaded. It's good to be busy anyway, at least you've made your day productive, though. So midterm is days ahead and I'll probably be busier than these past few weeks. But before I jump to books and plates again, I'm just gonna give the overview of the things that kept me busy this week:
  • Took some shots for Photography class.
  • Finished my sister's brochure, which took me quite a long time to make because I made all the icons..

  • This digital artwork+a 2-paged essay.

  • Plate in Illustration

  • Wrote the write-ups for UMBRA.
  • Plate in Graphic Design (LEC)
  • Illustrator stuff in Graphic Design+textures (LAB)
That's all, I guess. Watch out for my next entry. HINT: You'll drop your jaws, uhh it's jawdropping. Haha! Thanks to the amuhzing team for the effort. :)

Shots For Photography Class

These are some of my shots that I took today for our photography class. I got to climbed the rooftop again, the last time I was there was like 3 years ago. I've decided to climb again every once in a while to unwind. Haha.

Stuck in the same page because too many school works! Anyhow, today was fun, I got to shoot again(yay!) Will post it when I have the time. And hello nice wooden floor. :)

So here's my assignment in Literature which was based in a certain painting. Don't even know why I enjoy reading/writing poignant love stories. I think I didn't do well with the title and the last part because I was so sleepy when I made it. Haha.

A Melancholy Tune

I pluck the strings and think of you,
The soft melody reminds me of thou.
So soft, yet brittle,
A mellow, yet a fragile.

I pluck again and sadness sings.
The words run dry, it's stuck on strings.
As the tune fades to oblivion,
I thought how fast too you've gone.

I sing along to the lonely verse,
And blink on forlorn tears.
I search for bliss in setting skies,
Which can't exist in blunt goodbyes.

I pluck the strings repeatedly,
Trying to let thoughts of you flee.
I fill the room with the sound of the harp,
And there I saw what bliss felt like.

(The end though. I was like DEM Jea that escalated quickly. -_-)

"The world is not a wish-granting factory," says the most adorkable fiction character, Augustus Waters. He's undeniably right (John Green, actually). Sometimes, we expect too much to happen, and most of the time, our expectations wouldn't meet the circle of circumstances in real life. Before you squeal in dismay, remember that life is unfair to everybody and life is not a box of sweet candies but a mixture of literally almost every sense and feelings you can imagine. That's the beauty of life, it's not an empty canvas, it's a canvas with melancholy and happiness, anxiousness and serenity, bitter and sweet, everything written and painted permanently in that canvas. And no one can ever change that. We all walk in this mud of life, we're splashed with almost everything, and no one gets past through it without getting stains in one's clothes. Everybody just goes through that. Put it in the positive side, besides, experiencing hardships and staying strong despite all of that will always outweigh the safe-zoned ones who are constantly afraid of making mistakes. Live life, make things happen.

Two of the shots I took last Sunday. :)
I'm dedicating my first post to the cutest dog I've ever known in my lifetime. Haha. Haven't seen him for a month and I super duper miss this noisy, hyperactive, cutie patootie, sleepyhead little brat :( See you soon, our dear Chiko! :) Mwah!
